Special Education
The Special Education session primarily aims to provide personalized support and adaptation to the individual needs of children and adolescents with special educational needs. Through this support, the goal is to ensure that each child or young person receives the necessary assistance to reach their academic and personal potential, promoting an inclusive and high-quality educational experience.
Adult Neuropsychology
The Neuropsychology session aims to prevent, assist in diagnosing, and rehabilitate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes resulting from neurological injuries or dysfunctions. This area of Psychology investigates the impact that these brain alterations can have on cognitive functions, including memory, language, attention, executive functions, and more. Through the use of neuropsychological assessment tools, the goal is to provide a detailed description of an individual’s cognitive functioning, as well as to rehabilitate any impaired functions.

Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology
Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology focuses on the interaction between the brain and the behavior of children and adolescents, addressing neurodevelopmental disorders. Through neuropsychological assessment, it is possible to identify potential learning difficulties; suspected dyslexia and dysorthography; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); and cognitive deficits associated with epilepsy. Cognitive rehabilitation enables children and adolescents to learn strategies that help them cope with and overcome the difficulties resulting from these disorders, promoting better quality of life and academic performance.
Adult Clinical Psychology
Clinical Psychology is a specialty within Psychology that focuses on prevention, health promotion, and treatment, aiming for a deeper understanding of an individual’s functioning in relation to their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It provides support and follow-up services for individuals with mental health issues and associated complications. It also carries out preventive interventions to promote the mental and physical health of the population by encouraging the adoption of healthy and adaptive behaviors.

Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology
Clinical Psychology applied to children and adolescents focuses on managing emotions and maladaptive behaviors that may arise in different contexts, such as home and school. Through clinical observation and psychological assessment, the psychologist helps the child or adolescent understand the origin of their difficulties, express negative emotions, and learn to cope with them. Interventions and strategies are developed in collaboration with significant people in the child’s or adolescent’s life, aiming to facilitate and enhance the effectiveness of the therapeutic process.
Psychomotricity
Psychomotricity is an interdisciplinary field that studies the relationship between psychological processes—especially emotional and cognitive aspects—and the body’s motor processes. It involves the integration of mental and motor functions, observing how body movement, emotional expression, and cognitive development are interconnected.
In a psychomotor session, various assessments are conducted to understand the individual’s psychomotor functioning, including aspects such as motor coordination, balance, laterality, body schema, and body awareness, among others.

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach, part of the Third-Wave Therapies. This approach aims to promote a change in the client’s relationship with their thoughts, emotions, and sensations, and to understand the context in which they occur. By directing attentional focus to these aspects, the goal is to guide the client toward greater awareness of their habitual patterns of reactivity and to foster an effective change in their relationship with these patterns.
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy works to improve vocal quality, provides pre- and post-surgery support in cases of laryngeal pathologies, and addresses conditions that affect interpersonal communication and organic functions, such as chewing and swallowing. Its goal also includes restoring feeding and communication patterns in individuals of all ages, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is a health field focused on enabling individuals to participate in activities of daily living (ADLs) through interventions that support the development, recovery, or maintenance of the skills needed to carry out everyday tasks. Its objectives include promoting independence, improving quality of life, and facilitating the individual’s role in social interactions.
