Training on Developmental Disorders and School Learning, Portimão Municipal Library

Last Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, a training session on Developmental Disorders and School Learning was held, led by Dr. Filipe Fernandes.

The training brought together teachers and specialized professionals from the municipalities of Portimão and Monchique.

It was an incredible opportunity to deepen knowledge and explore strategies that contribute to development and school success.

XIII Jornadas d´O Companheiro, Lagoa

The 13th edition of Jornadas d’O Companheiro took place on October 15th at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium in Lagoa, where Dr. Filipe Fernandes discussed the role of executive functions on behavior in adolescents and adults

7th Algarve Autoimmunity Summit, Portimão

On September 19th, 2024, Dr. Filipe Fernandes was invited by the Algarve Medical Association (AMALG) to participate in a discussion with Dr. Carlos Carneiro, focused on the quality of life of patients with Axial Spondyloarthritis, an autoimmune disease.

Café Memória, Portimão

On March 9th, 2024, Dr. Filipe Fernandes had the privilege of being invited by Alzheimer Portugal to speak about the role of Neuropsychology in Dementia and the part played by the Neuropsychologist in supporting both the patient and the caregiver.

The morning was filled with various activities and sharing sessions, creating a learning environment where mutual understanding and care were highlighted.

Mindfulness Workshop

On March 8th, 2024, the Portimonense SC Under-14 Girls’ team participated in a Mindfulness session led by Dr. Gabriel Dionel.

During the session, the athletes had the opportunity to develop attention-focusing techniques and emotion regulation skills, enhancing both their performance during games and their personal lives.
