Mission
The goal of a Neuropsychology consultation is to prevent, contribute to the diagnosis, and rehabilitate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes resulting from neurological injuries or dysfunctions. This area of Psychology investigates the impact these brain alterations can have on cognitive functions, including memory, language, attention, executive functions, and more. Through the use of neuropsychological assessment tools, the aim is to provide a detailed understanding of an individual’s cognitive functioning and to rehabilitate any impaired functions.

Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology
Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology focuses on the interaction between the brain and behavior in children and adolescents, addressing neurodevelopmental disorders. Through neuropsychological assessment, it is possible to identify potential learning difficulties; suspected Dyslexia and Dysorthography; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); and cognitive deficits associated with Epilepsy. Cognitive rehabilitation helps children and adolescents learn strategies to manage and overcome challenges resulting from these disorders, promoting improved quality of life and academic performance.
